Have you ever wondered why some leaves change colour in Autumn while other leaves stay green? Or what happens to leaves after they fall off the tree? Come find out at Science Time: Autumn!
Science Time gets little scientists involved in a fun and interactive learning experience. Each session starts with a question. Children and their caregivers work together to investigate, discover, and then share their findings. Hands-on experiments, activities and crafts help children to explore the topic further. The session finishes with a demonstration and an activity sheet so you can continue your STEM journey at home.
Topic: Dinosaurs (16 – 28 June)

Have you ever wondered what food different dinosaurs ate? Or what happened to all the dinosaurs? Or how dinosaur fossils are made? Come find out at Science Time: Dinosaurs!
- Science Time is suitable for little scientists aged 3 to 5 years. Younger siblings under the age of 3 are welcome to attend and do not require a ticket. Note that ticket prices include entry to Questacon.
- Member adults are no longer required to book a ticket.
- Sessions start at 10:00 and 11:00 am weekdays; 10:00 and 11:00 am and 12.30 pm on Saturdays.
- Each session runs for 45 minutes.
- You can find us in the Blue Door Room in Gallery 5 – ask staff for directions.
